hello everyone!

i just signed up to this forum. and here's immediately my first question.^^

i wonder, if there's a possibility to watch an incoming video signal and at the same time listen to the sound, that is generate by its data. i tried to connect the gemhead directly to a dac~ object and sometimes i even get so squarewave bursts! but no constant sound out put.

i'm pretty new to pd and any hint for further reading or already existing patches that do more or less what i described above would be nice.
