So I'm just getting started on learning PD/GEM but there's only one problem... I installed GEM properly (placing the preference file in it's rightful folder) and when PD fires up, it detects GEM. However it can't create certain objects. Namely "create" and "destroy". Any suggestions? I'm totally new to this so I really have no idea how to troubleshoot it.

mihas, did you copy the org.puredata.pd.plist file to the preferences folder? the preferences folder is on your system disk>user>library>preferences

the file is part of the package you get when you download GEM
