I have separated out the speech signal into vocal tract spectrum and excitation spectrum. Now i want the original speech signal (ie., the input voice) to be reproduced as output. Ideas please..

Can somebody please let me know the right object to be used for receiving sound file as input?

I am new to PD. Could somebody please let me know if there is a way to set a default number for the number object in PD. If i use a message object to set number for the number object, I am unable to output the number. Please help.
