Hello,
I am quite new to Pd and I cannot manage to have pmpd running correctly.
I have tried several pd-extended versions:
- Pd-0.40.3-extended-rc1-macosx104-i386 from Hans-Christoph Steiner
- Pd-0.39.3-extended-macosx104-i386 from puredata.info
- latest release from autobuild.puredata.info/auto-build/
All of them have problems with pmpd, but also with pdp, pidip and gem too.
If you have a functional similar configuration please let me know!

OK, all the problems came because X11 wasn't installed on my Macintosh. I wanted to download and install it from Apple, but you cannot find the current version for Tiger (apart from the Developers tools). The installer is in the installation disk of the Macintosh.
So now everything is fine. Great!

Actually pmpd seems to work, it wasn't functionning because the example patches use abstractions. By replacing the abstractions by plain vanilla objects pmpd is fine.
However, many examples still do not function because of Gem. Gem objects cannot be created ("...couldn't create" messages in Pd window).
What's wrong?

No, I was aware of that problem and despite deletion of such files nothing changes...
