I'm sure this must be a noob question, so apologies in advance!

I've noticed that the vcf object attenuates the level of signal when cut-off frequencies are set above 6KHz or so when using it with the low-pass outlet. Is this expected behaviour or am I doing something wrong? Shouldn't the sound become louder when fewer frequencies are cut?

If it is expected, are there any ways of mitigating this, other than just boosting the signal on the way out?
