i'm confused (already). i have installed pd on osx10.3 and can see the icon in applications but when i click on it nothing happens any suggestions.

I had loads of trouble trying to get the other version to work under tcltk (and gave up), this one works under Terminal which should be in your utilities folder on osx

you've probably seen this already. It's a link to a pdf of a book that puckette is working on. i've only found it myself, i'm trying to find a browsable reference list of pd objects and their functions. this might do the job.

Yeah,
I've tried starting it from Wish Shell and also from Terminal but i keep getting command errors. I was hoping pd might be something i could augment my max/msp with but it does seem more like line command programming. Also the installed folders for pd seem to be dispersed throughout my applications folder is this also common or should i move them all into one directory?

hi there, any chance you could give me some tips on getting pd up and running on panther osx. it seems to have installed correctly but when i select the pd application icon nothing happens. any help would be great.
