Been a bit out of Pd world for a while. Does anyone know what happened to the Apply button in the Properties dialog? It's in Pd-extended, but I'm going the Vanilla route and adding only bits I need.
Is it possible with gui plugins?
Cheers
Pd vanilla 0.46.7 and Apply button in properties

Hi,
Can you be a bit more specific, which properties dialog are you talking about? The ones that you open by right clicking on a GUI element such as a button, slider, toggle, etc.? If so, on Pd 0.46.5 and Linux 64-bit I do have the Apply button there. As for the GUI plugins, I don't think pd vanilla accept those.
Cheers,
Gilberto
Hi Gilberto
Yes that's it exactly. Strange that it would go missing on a later build. Maybe I'll put it to the list.
Thanks

@boonier What platform are you on? I'm running 0.46-7 on linux and the apply button is present in all GUI property windows as far as I can tell.
From the list:
Hi
Is the omission of the Apply btn in the properties dialogues (present in
Pd-extended) a feature of latest vanilla build or a bug?a feature¹.

IOhannes¹ that should go away. in the meantime you could switch to linux where
there is an apply button.
@gsagostinho yep that's me. Dan Wilcox has something working by fiddling with the tcl code for the gui
@noDSP its on OSX. Apparently omitted whilst figuring out how best to adhere to Apple Human Interface Guidelines....?!
anyway Dan has it so changes to the textboxes instantly update the gui

Oops! Looks like something went wrong!
