For my final doctoral recital months back, I realized a version of Karlheinz Stockhausen's Solo Nr. 19 for melody instrument and delay lines. The original version was for a soloist and 3 helpers operating the delay lines (since it was composed in the 60s pre-PC era), but I automated all of that in Pure Data. I also used pvoc~ chop up some Stockhausen electronic music and live recorded sound to beef up some sections.
