i am using a midi and a microphone i am also using (fiddle~) to make a pitch follower and the final process is to make auto correction from the microphone to be played by the midi ( corrected by midi)
is there any patch or any suggestions

I'm not shure I'm clear but maybe this abstraction can help you.
You decide the root first then the scale and the midi in is corrected to those midi notes.
The original is from pdmtl library I think. musical.closest.notes.pd
