Hey guys, I'm working on this project where im assigning some midi values on to GEM, but i cant seem to find a way to extract polyphonic values?for instance, if i hold a chord, i want to be able to have number boxes showing velocity and pitch for each of those notes held. Also, im using the [seq] object to loop midi files. is there a way i could extract the info off those midi loops as well (the same way i could extract it off a midi controller)? Im specifically talking about Piano Roll Midi files. Any help would be appreciated, I'm a complete beginner to PD.

Try sending those note-on/note-offs to [poly], making sure the voice argument is large enough to handle the maximum number of voices you play. [poly] keeps track of and pairs matching note-ons/note-offs, tagging them with a voice number. You can then use [route] to send those messages to different sets of number boxes.
