I am using a line object to manipulate frequencies from an [mtof] object, which works well, but large sweeps have a strange 'rattling' quality to them, almost as if they were moving through a number of very short increments - is there any way of reducing this?

use [line~] and [mtof~]

or, use creation arguments for [line] to decrease the step time (default is 20ms)

first creation argument is the initial value (usually 0), and second one is the step time. So, to step every 5ms instead of 20, you can create [line 0 5]

or every 1ms: [line 0 1]
