I've just upgraded to 0.43.4 and I get the followwing error messages on start up,

but...
I only get the messages when the audio card is connected (Firewire)
can any one give some advice as how to fix this issue?

***I work on OSX 10.6.8,
with an Apogee Duet 1 audio card***

Hello there,

Is anybody working on OX10.6.8 having problems with PD?

I can"t be the only one in this world to be using PD on a MACbook PRO!

I mean cause I haven't seen much posting on the subject,
and as far as I know PD should work as well for all plafrorms,
it isn't Ubuntu-exclusive, is it?

Those are just Tcl errors (gui-side of Pd), and you probably don't need to sweat it too much. Though, it does seem odd that it only happens when your Firewire interface is plugged in. Is it actually causing problems?

Yes, most of the time I get distorted audio and I need to stop/restart
Pd and my audio card,

I never experience this problems if I only work with onboard audio,
so I think it"s some kind of incompatibility between PD 0.43.4 and my external FWire card.

--Worth mentioning that I tried the same scenario with another MAC,
and same results. Strange.--

(as usual i got no response from DUET service, card cost me 700$ 2 yrs ago)

I'll need to do some testing with a different card.

Hi There,

I get the same errors on my Mac Pro running OSX 10.9.4. Turning off my Apogee Ensemble fixes the problem. Things seems okay though on my MBP 10.8.6 and MOTU Ultralight mk3 via FireWire.
