I am wondering if there is anyway to stop multiple instances of pd opening when i click on .pd files in explorer. It is really frustrating having so many copies open.

What i did is create a "master" patch which contains a lot of buttons to open other patches. This way i only have 1 pd instance running. The masterpatch would contain stuff like this (place a bang called patch1Bang) ::

[r patch1Bang]

[;pd open patch1.pd ../patch1folder(
