hello all, I've been away from pd for a while. Wanted to update pd to the current version. Downloaded and installed the 0.43.4 beta.

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit.

As soon as pd opens the main window, an error is thrown:

I have wiped out the pd-extended key from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node with no benefit.

It's worth noting that 0.43.4 is not the current version, it's a development version. Current version is 0.42.5 i think.

Thanks for the info everyone. I wanted to check out the beta because I was interested in checking out the new GUI.

I think that you should try to download Pd-extended 0.43.4 again. I believe that the versions on the webpage are nightly builds, so may be the problem that you had, could have been corrected on a newer version. I love the Magic Glass feature (for quickly debugging) and the Autopatch. Also try to update your system before you install it. I hope this time will work for you.

Thanks for the suggestion. I download 0.43.4 today (12/16/12) and it loads up no problem!
