I am running ubuntustudio 10.04LTS AMD64

I have a simple question.

Is any difference between (Pd version 0.42-5) & (Pd-extended 0.42.5)?

Pd ver 0.42-5 was in the standard repository and is what I have installed.

Pd-extended is basically standard Pd plus a lot of popular libraries bundled with it. There are a few other differences (different licenses, cosmetic changes, etc.), but that's the main difference.

I take it that there is a difference, then, between (Pd version 0.42-5) & (Pd-extended 0.42.5).

I noticed some lack of functionality as reported while following some tutorials several months ago.
