Does anyone know, how can I take snapshot from pix_video signal (or anyhow from webcam) and save it in Jpeg (or tiff...)?

I have tried connecting pix_snap to pix_video but that was not working...

have a look at the attached... a live time lapse. i think it will help.

to get it to work you'll need to make a folder call PICS, or not, you just need to set the path in the symbol that right now is:

symbol Users/Coco/Desktop/Folder/PICS/$1

Is there any chance to change file numbering from 100000, 200000... to 1, 2...?

Or can I disable shortening of long numbers in Pd?
(like 1200000 becomes 1.2e+06)
