The news section is for posting announcements of generally anything Pd-related or something that may be of interest to the Pd community. This includes, but is not limited to:

* New releases of the various versions of Pd (Pd-vanilla, Pd-extended, Pd Droid Party, pdlib, etc.)

* Projects using Pd (something significant like Visual Tracker or PatchWerk Radio that is regularly updated and meant to be used widely, not just a personal patch you are sharing; that should go in patches~)

* Library releases

* Patching circles/meet-ups

* Calls for papers and/or artistic works

* Workshops

Or anything else along those lines. This is NOT a section for posting questions as topics (replies are, of course, okay). If you have a question, it should probably go somewhere else.
