I've been messing around with pd for a few months now and would be interested in attending that kind of patching circle event. I am in Belgium so Rotterdam is almost next door...
The WORM website doesn't tell when future events will take place.
Are there any details available for the next events?

Whether you're an experienced sound designer, dsp programmer, a Pure Data / MaxMsp noob, tech freak or music lover: everyone is invited to join LoadBang. These informal meetings are set up to share experiences, info, tips and tricks of graphical dsp programming. As a physical extension of electronic fora, IRC channels and mailing lists, patching circles enable us to meet and collaborate with the people behind nicknames and avatars. In Rotterdam, these meetings are hosted in the inspiring ambience of WORM, Institute for Avantgardistic Recreation. Bring your laptop, don't forget it's power supply. We have electricity, wifi, tables&chairs, sound, coffee&tea.

When Loadbangrotterdam meetings will held?

It is still like announced in the first post: first Saturday in each month (except summer holidays). So, that was this afternoon, sorry! Hope to see you next time. Each meeting is announced on http://www.worm.org.

Admittedly, WORM's site is a bit of a puzzle, so here's a hint: click the little 'tools' icon on the homepage, and you'll see all workshops, Loadbang meetings etc. on the WORM agenda. Today you can see the next two meetings, 3 November and 1 December.

The meetings have no formal program, topics depend on attendant's preferences and activities. Controller hardware and live performance requisites tend to be recurring topics. Some other topics: Pd and OpenFrameworks, double precision Pd, stochastic music in Super Collider and MaxMsp, GEM, programming externals in C/C++. Last couple of months we've seen Pd on Raspberry Pi.

Everyone is welcome, even if you just want to see what it's all about. No admission fees.
