Sorry if i do a mistake by puting a post here. Would you say to me where i should post for this kind of message if i'm wrong?

So, i want to do working Pure data, Jack and Ardour together. When i start Jack, it's good. Then, when i start puredata with the command "pdextended -rt" in a terminal, sometimes i have the message i put in the title. And then when i start Ardour, this is the apocalypse with plenty of xruns and the same message.
I don't know what say this message.
It is a core i7 920 for the processor, ubuntu 11.04, 6Go for memory and a edirol UA25 for the sound-card.

Please,is there anybody who would say to me the significant?

Hello. I have a similar issue. Running Ubuntu Lucid and pdextended 0.42.5. When I try to connect PD to jack I get :
error: JACK error: JackActivationCount::Signal value = 0 ref = 3
audio I/O stuck... closing audio.

I tried different kernels, also RT with same result.
Alsamidi connects ok.

It's hard to say what the problem is without knowing 1) the soundcard/interface you are using and 2) your JACK settings. But it sounds like you need to tweak the JACK settings specific to your hardware and/or tweak the latency settings in the software (they might be to aggressively low)

Setting a larger buffer in jack helped. I was trying some jack presets that worked OK previously, so I didn't think that was the problem. But I probably was mixing up the presets. I get the message "audio stuck" in pd, but can connect anyway. Still seem like I cannot go as low in latency as I seem to remember from before with this soundcard, but maybe I'm wrong. Thanks again.
