Hello!

Basically what i'm trying to achieve is to load lets say five .wav samples into PD an play them sequentially with a midi keyboard.
so when i press a key(no matter which one) the first sample plays once, when i press the next key the second sample starts playing and so on and so on.. when i reached the last sample it starts all over again..

maybe someone can give me a hint how to achieve this..

I would suggest converting note-ons into bangs and using that to drive a counter. Then, use the output of the counter to select which sample to play. Something like this:

[notein]

[stripnote]
|
[t b]
|
[counter 1 5]
|
[sel 1 2 3 4 5]

I have made a setup but the problem is that everytime i press a key it produces a signal and everytime i let go of a key it also produces a signal...
so with every keypress it jumps two steps..

i have attached the PD file.. maybe you have an advice..

You've got the wrong outlet of [notein] going into the right inlet of [stripnote]. [stripnote] needs note and velocity. You're giving it note and channel number.
