Hi guys,

i was searching for a library to use the Wii remote input to manage some patches in PD, then i found Wiilib, but apparently the web site of wiilib is offline.

Has someone tested Wiilib? There is another way to get this library?

I have done a couple of patches using the Wii, they are pretty simple just using it to turn parts of a patch on/off and then to scratch some imported audio just like a DJ does.

Anyway I found this site pretty useful

The site is really interesting, but i am running Pd in Linux, so i dont have OSCulator.

Is there some equivalent program for OSC in Linux?

If someone could upload some example patches, it would be very very useful

here is the last wiilib archive I had downloaded. I didn't check for upgrades too often as I realized the project looked like 'sleeping'.
So it could either be the more up-to-date version, or not

I usually use OSC DarwiinRemote

It works just like OSCulator but its free

I thinks its cross platform too

darwiinremote is not cross platform. it is for mac only.

I don't think any of the Wiimote stuff is cross-platform, which is a shame. It's a really useful controller.

Buuut,

when i try the help patch, some stuf dont work properly.

I successfully connected my wiimote, the LEDs and rumble responded to the patch. But, when i tried the Acc and IR report, there was a "no method for 'report'" message. Does, someone know this problem, is this version deprecated, about the report message treatment?

Someone used this version of the extension? The report type message is not working properly.

Does anyone use this version of wiilib? i still did not get any reference for my problem.

I coudn't open your archive. You mentionned the same problem with the one I posted previously ... so I tried now to download 'mine' and open it and ... doesn't work neither.

Modest conclusion : something goes wrong with the upload function ?

BUT this is a compression of the folder after my install (the original archive can be found, if you ask me to, as it is on another pc), so if you want to use it to compile on your computer maybe you'll have to clean up some config files in the folder before.

i downloaded your files but this version could not be load by Pd. Everything looks right, the library compiles correctly, but Pd does not load.

Which version of Pd do you use ? Mine is pd-extended 0.42-5 .
