Hey all. I'd been messing around with Max 5 a lot, until my nine month student license ran out. I want to try Pure Data as an alternative, but I'm having trouble adjusting to the workflow. Is there anyway to configure Pure Data so I can use the same shortcuts as Max?

Most importantly, double clicking on an empty space to create a new object, and control-clicking to toggle edit mode.

These features aren't available yet AFAIK but I believe they are possible in PD .43 using gui plugins. There's already quite a few posted here: http://puredata.info/community/projects/software/by-category/guiplugin

I haven't used any of these yet...I haven't upgraded to .43 yet (still in the middle of a large project)
