This is an excellent teaching tool, it flows well and doesn't overwhelm the reader (assuming they have basic knowledge of how sound works).

I've been doing a lot of DSP theory in my courses but it really doesn't cover sound synthesis (more filter design and domain transforms) in a practical sense, so I'm already enjoying this as a quick look into various synthesis methods.

Really appreciate the feedback. As of May 2007 that section is a little bit stalled,
but there will be more I promise and plenty more practical designs exploring different synthesis methods and interface styles.

One bit I found hard to finish (and I'm waiting because it's a moving target and actually a bit wobbly on my machine), is persistance using [pool] and [sssad]

A better development of MIDI controllers and polyphony is also needed.

I also waited because of plans to match style with the PDDP guys and mirror that doc on puredata.info, so much to do ... so much to do

Well, just don't rush it -- it'll be painfully obvious and frustrating to people trying to learn if you skip too many steps. Besides, it's not like anyone's breathing down your neck to get this done right away. Keep chipping at it, keep up the good work.

Strange, it seems to work over here (audio and graph). Maybe you could resize the graph a bit because tcl/tk (the library used to give pd its visual aspect) sometimes lags behind... But that's really a very wild guess...
