Not that this is really the place for obituaries, but I thought this would be a worthy exception. In case you guys hadn't heard:
Max Mathews died in the morning of 21 April 2011 [today] in San Francisco, California of complications from pneumonia.

If there's one guy that everyone doing anything related to computers and audio owes something to, it's him. He's also one of the nicest, most humble people I've ever had the privilege to meet. RIP Max.
