I downloaded flashserver which is billed as a pd add-on. It seems that it is only for Max. where can i get the PD version or how do I install correctly(i tried to link to the flashserver.mxe file)

An older version of flashserver will be included in Pd-0.39.2-extended-test7. Let me know if it works for you. It'll be posted here in the next couple days:

It's included in the "flatspace" library, so you need to either do [import flatspace] or [flatspace/flashserver]

I just noticed that there are Pd binaries up on the official page, for Windows and Mac OS X.
