I'm loving using Pd. I have made an effects processor for voice and guitar, and would like to record with it, but i don't know how to send audio from pd into cubase.

I've tried looking for a MacOS equivalent of pdvst and I can't seem to find anything.

Can someone please assist me in this? This patch has been a little pet project and i'm itching to record something with it!

If you have a multi in-out soundcard you can physically redirect audio from a specific physical output (set with [dac~]) in pd to a physical inputbus in cubase (I've just tried this yesterday and this worked very well).

Another option is to use a [writesf~] object to stream your audio to disk in pd, and import it later in cubase. You can have quite some [writesf~] object running at the same time to record multitrack.

afaik, there's a mac version of the jack audio server, so you could run cubase and pd as clients from the jack server, and connect them via virtual audio ports.

The OSX version of Jack has a plugin that allows you to route audio to and from an insert slot in a DAW. So you can essentially treat Pd as a plugin that way.
