I'm trying to work on a project in which any movement leaves a trail/motion blur behind it (similar to this light painting effect

I was originally looking at pix_biquad, but I've been told that likely won't be up to the task.

Any ideas?!

just mix in the old picture with the new
don't remember if delwrite~ worked with gem or if you have to use something else
but i remember it was possible
