Hi I'm new to the forum so hello :0)
I am not too interested in getting anything majourly complex done, I for now just intend to use my snes controllers as usb/midi controllers.
I got the main jist of hid with a little twiddling however I found it to be a little unstable when it comes to
sending bangs to cc values / notes to different programs.
I am sending the info to sooperlooper, so one press for start record one press for stop would be ideal at this point and then I can see if I can work out the rest myself.
Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks

Hid multiple bangs

Does [change] help you here?

I'm not entirely sure, one button press is two bangs
so if I could have the press down as a note on then the release ignored.
then the second press as a note off, that may be ideal, although I'm not sure about the sooperlooper interactions with midi control options as the documentation is not entirely clear and there are different options -
I'm half asleep here but I think one button press is outputting a 1 for on and a 0 for off - if you use a [sel 1] object you will get 1 bang out of the left outlet.

maybe the flipflop can help, i use it to control bangs via midi

maybe something like this...
