Thanks! However, for some reason I still can't receive any MIDI signal. I've checked my network settings & everything checked out, even disabled firewall but to no avail. Any other thoughts other than adding [import mrpeach]?

TouchOSC and pd-extended problems
-
Guys sorry for being a total retard.
But I am too trying to use touchOSC with DJ Software in Win7 but when I load a custom patch, created by touchosc2pd.jar, It gives the same error.
error: [dumpOSC]: OSCx is deprecated!
Consider switching to mrpeach's [unpackOSC] and [udpreceive]
OSCroute object version 1.05 by Matt Wright. pd: jdl Win32 raf.
OSCroute Copyright ᄅ 1999 Regents of the Univ. of California. All Rights Reserved.
error: [OSCroute]: OSCx is deprecated!
Consider switching to mrpeach's [routeOSC]I added mrpeach to startup but PD failed to open it.
Then I added unpackOSC and udpreceive and then mrpeach. PD loaded mrpeach no problems, but when I ran my patch, it produced the same error.I am totally lost. Every step of the way touchOSC provides extreme difficulties for me. By the way the patch that I am trying to generate is not a custom one, but merely the patch for mix2ipad, which is one of the two default layouts of touchOSC for ipad.
Edit*** I attached my patch file.
MAJOR EDIT***
Ok, so I looked at the previous attachments, and corrected my pd file. I added udpreceive 8000, unpackOSC, pipelist and declare - lib mrpeach and import mrpeach.
I still can not get midi signals, PD won't respond to my ipad.
What do i do?
FINAL EDIT***
Lol! I got it working, I removed the declare command and opened the dj software, to see my touchOSC inputs generate midi responses. Thanks to all of you!!!

i'd hate to pile on, but i'm having the very same issue... PD is very new to me, and i spent a hwhile just getting the midi yoke str8 and getting midi response. The default layouts just aren't working for me, and i want something that'll mimic my old midi hardware on touch osc. I get to the point of using touchosc2pd-v1.1 to make my layout for PD to map my 6 page layout, and it makes the pd file for me.... When i run it i get the same errors about mrpeach etc, and i'm kinda at wits end... not sure how to run mrpeach within PD's interface and/or swap out OSCroute to routeOSC..... yet...
Can someone please help steer me or change the patch up so i can use this iPod touch 3rd gen? It's a SICK layout for my 3 deck setup that i spin with, but is also versatile enough to go on the road with me and would wow people
Edit: I got it running!!! stoked... I appreciate all the info and posts that have guided me!!! I got this custom layout thing done!!!

alright... here's a question...
After beta testing what layouts work the best with what i'm trying to do, i'm curious if it's possible to put a fader or rotary on two different pages that's assigned to the same midi channel
Reason i ask is that i'd like to use FX beat parameter on two different pages. I gotta assume it's possible, but i'm not really sure how one would route it on the patch as i've learned alot in the small time i've taken with puredata, but not that.... any ideas?

So... I'm kinda having trouble with the touchOSC editor also, I just want to upload an xy layout I created across my entire iPad to the damn thing. But can't figure out how to do this. Let me know if anyone can help. Kinda stunned and flustered.

Hey, really new to this lot, but I feel like I'm so close to getting it working
using the basic.pd file found on the hexler site I can connect to my iphone, then clicking the button below, pd sets the first fader to max, but I cannot figure out how to get the iphone to talk to pd.
My ultimate aim is to get this working in order to use the fx on traktor. Thought it'd be much simpler than this! lol.
So far, got midi yoke installed, pd extended, basic.pd and mix2.pd open, traktor 1.2.4 pro, windows 7 64b......
Any pointers on what I might need to do would be great.
thanks
