Hi I'm trying to modify the casio patch made by someone in this forum.

What I'm trying to do is to use my laptop's qwerty keyboards as a midi keyboard so I can send 2-octave ranges(25keys) midi notes to MIDI-In of my VSTi.

Down below is the patch that I modified, and I added an octave pitch shifting function which is assigned to alphabet 'O'(octave down) and 'P'(octave up).

It seems like it is working okay, but if I try to move octave range while pressing down two seperate notes simultaniously to play chords, I can still hear one of the note is still played continously even after releasing the keys.

And it continously plays until I move to the previous octave range and play that stuck note again.

I tried to find out what's causing it but I couldn't fix the problem since I'm kind of newbie.

I would be glad if someone could help me and fix the problem for me.

I can't look at your patch now, but it sounds like when you press a key it sends a note-on in that octave, and when you change octaves it sends a note-off in the new octave. Try to make it so that it stores the note-on value when you press the key, and when you release the key it just attaches a velocity 0 to the stored note-on.

Please, please, please be patient before bumping a post. At least wait a full 24 hours...

I already tried storing note-on value and sending it to makenote with velocity 0 when releasing the key. but it seems that it's not the main cause of the problem since it only happens when pressing chords. if I change octave while pressing down just one note, the note never gets stuck.
I'm sorry for not waiting long enough.. will be patient next time!

I should have made multiple float objects to send note-offs to every notes!!
