How can I open 2 instances of pd at the same time? (I'd like to use 1 for audio and 1 for gem.) I'm using a MacBook (10.6.4) - any help would be appreciated.

Isn't that as simple as, well,... opening 2 instances of pd? On windows you would doubleclick twice on the pd icon...

It's not quite that simple, but I got it - you have to launch the second instance from the terminal. - right click on pd extended app in finder
I think on a mac if you make a copy of the application (and best call it something else, like 'PD2') it should run a second instance
