I have a problem with Media/Audio Settings: there isn't my audio card as input/output.

Anyone can help me?

this is error:

/dev/dsp (read/write): No such file or directory
(now will try write-only...)
/dev/dsp (writeonly): No such file or directory
/dev/dsp (readonly): No such file or directory
audio I/O stuck... closing audio

I am having the same error after upgrading to Ubuntu 10.10 (worked fine in Lucid...)
Can anyone help?
