Hi,

I am required to prepare a 5-10 minute audio piece that will eventually be heard through headphones in a gallery. The theme is a specific square/area in Berlin. More precisely, "bringing the outside inside".

Does anybody have any ideas of something interesting I can do (using field recordings or whatever)? Not necessarily using PD. I have some ideas but I'm not in love with any of them. Love to hear what you can come up with.

if you can put microphones outside near a nice soundscape (fountains, people chatting, children playing etc..., you could process the audio signal in pd (in many ways) and give it to the audience inside...

this is just an idea but i think that if you know why you are doing something, you can better figure out what to do and how.

so what you wanna say with your installation?
may be the motto "bringing the outside inside" can be used to spread other ideas in more figurative senses.

The piece has to be recorded so I can't locate mics outside. I can record whatever I wish using a field recorder.
