I've made a very simple six-pot arduino midi controller. I've used Pd to convert the serial data to midi and send it to Ableton Live.

The midi information is received in Ableton BUT I'm finding it very difficult to map any controls because my patch constantly sends midi information on all the CCs I've specified.

I'm new to Pd, so any help appreciated and if anyone would be willing to look at my patch then that would be fantastic!

i had the same problem with my arduino midi controller: i found using [average] and [change] objects helped smooth out the noise on the analogue inputs and solves the problem with values jittering and jumping.

[change] was just the ticket. thanks aeo. shame that there is still latency.

possibly an obvious question, but have you tried upping the baud rate of the serial connection?

yeah, when i try going about 56000 it starts completely crapping out.
