how is it possible, to make sure that a gem fullscreen is on top, when PD starts and not the patch window? I'm using a loadbang to initiate the window. If I open the PD-patch sometimes fullscreen is on top sometimes not. Using windows XP.

Hello, see gemwin-help in gem help files, you can set gem window in fullscreen mode.
On winxp, the settings are taking effect when the gem window is "re-created".

then I'll try to delay the fullscreen-creation at startup. Then it should be 'on-top', right?

I've been looking deeper, I didn't find any solution with some gemwin or internal message.
You can minimize pd main window and patches and send the gemwin message with netsend-netreceive or FUDI, or

you can resolve this problem with a dual head and putting the gemwin in the second monitor while pd main window and patches would be in the first one.
