Maybe some of you could help me.

I can't connect the "thouchosc" application on iphone with puredata.
I've carefully read the tutorial (http://www.gadgetcracker.com/2009/06/how-to-iphone-touchosc-pure-data-ableton-live/), did everything fine but Touchosc can't connect network and speak with PD.
Touchosc keep on searching network all the time.

The strange thing is that I've never had problem with other applications that need wireless computer-iphone connection.

In the tutorial, I've read that it could be a problem of ports.
Here is what I've found with "open port scanner" on pd.exe
Don't know if that can help you for answering

Protocol - PID - Local Address - Local Port - Remote Address - Remote Port

TCP - 2076 - 127.0.0.1 - 5400 - 127.0.0.1 - 4023
TCP - 2076 - 0.0.0.0 - 5400 - 0.0.0.0 - 2144
UDP - 2076 - 0.0.0.0 - 8000

When I first set up TouchOSC, I thought I had the same issues because it was always searching for a network to join all the time. It will continue to do this even if you're connected.

Did you try just selecting a layout and trying the controls? You can make a simple patch in PD that will output incoming data to the PD console with:

[dumpOSC 8000] <--- 8000 being the port number.
|
[print]

Move some controls and see if anything is output.

If it's definitely not connected, but you're sure your connecting to the correct IP address, then maybe you need to configure port forwarding on your router?

I have another problem, but I just want to know how to route the messages printed in the pd console ?

I see that I receive something (

but I can't receive the numbers in my patch !

Hey teuob... I used something similar from wiimote whiteboard try an unpack. You might need to fiddle with the objects that the unpackis going to because some of that info is symbols and is floats. I managed with that I think.
