Hello all,

I wanted to have a taste of Pure Data on Linux by booting into PureDyne off a memory-stick.

However, the PureDyne download is an ISO file, which I believe is a CD mirror. In my case, WinRar just unzipped it out into a few files and directories.

But, putting these onto a stick and trying to boot off that does now work.

How should I go about this correctly?

AFAIK you can find instructions to do just that on the pure:dyne goto10 site.

I think I got the pure:dyne cd working first and from that i configured an USB-stick.

No wonder I hadn't bumped into this roundabout route ~ how interesting that one must prepare the USB key/stick from within Linux!
