two objects I've not really used before. I'm a bit confused as to how one uses these 2 objects together.

When using [poly] it expects a note on and a note off (provided by the delayed note with velocity 0) to handle the allocation. I don't want the 2nd note off message as it keeps triggering the synth again. Whats the best way to block the note off message using [stripnote]?

if you use it for a synth, i assume you'll unpack the routed pitch/velo pair, right? why not using stripnote after unpacking it? so you don't need to route the [stripnote] pair... okay, that's quite dirty too and you'll need a stripnote for every instance of wave generators.... just an idea!

yeah...i think the spigot and >0 version is the way to go......

I just thought [stripnote] was meant for this kind of thing. Maybe I'm missing something. But I guess your solution also works eh?

yeah cool, but then it only works if you have voice stealing on! If its off then it doesn't reset the voice because the velocity 0 never makes it....I've ended up putting one after the route in each voice abstraction (thanks toxonic!). I guess [stripnote] overhead is pretty minimal

I'm confused. Why don't you just turn on voice stealing? What are you doing that's different than that?

I don't know now - confused myself! I'm just trying different methods to polyphonize my patches and trying to settle on one. I've tried the manual methods, [nqpoly4] and [polypoly]

Still undecided.... :/
