Hi everbody
I was wandering how to save video to hard disk too.
The question is wich capture program works fine with Windows XP, or, how should [pix_write] be set? Cause it should capture almost 30 pix per second, isn`t it?
If someone could explain ... Thnx -
i'm a bit late as usually.
try [pix_record]

pix_write is a good place to start, because it's a Gem object. unfortunately, for me at least, i have to keep the resolution of the rendering window pretty small, and/or the jpeg quality, or else it lags when dumping.
pix_record is in either pdp or pidip, either way you'll need to get pdp up and running. i was told this only dumps to .mov, but i might be wrong.
i dump to jpegs using pix_write, then i have to use ffmpeg and mencoder to make the final video. ideally, find an external DVD recorder, or a DV cam, and run out your s-video out of your videocard. then you will get crystal clear quality in your recording (as opposed to a small, blurry video like mine on youtube )

I found a tool for video and still picture capturing SNAPZ from AMBROSIO working on MAC OSX or WIN XPbut the videos will only capture Your very first Patch settings : no changes during rendering changes seem to be taken into account
bonne chance
