Stupid question.

I would like to use two microphones as an input in pd patch. So, should I set 'multiple devices' in audio settings, and how to differentiate several inputs? Make arguments in [adc~]s?

have a look at the help file for the adc~ object, so if you have for example 4 input channels availavle you can do [adc~ 1 2 3 4], so the adc~ will have 4 outlets, 1 for each channel.

One hardware option would be to use a mixer. That way you can run just one input into your computer.

edit: although if you really need to differentiate between the two signals, then my suggestion is not much help.
