while following online tutorials for PD, i was told to use a &&~ object, but when i put this into my patch, it wouldn't turn into an object, instead it just had the dotted outline without any ports. the same thing happened with an asb~ earlier today but when i updated pd it worked fine. how do i fix this? is there a version past 0.42-5?

They are probably extended objects, if you're running vanilla.

nope, not using vanilla, do i have to install a different version of PD? i thought i had pd extended, maybe not tho

actually i do have pd extended, version 0.41.4. is there a way i can download seperate objects or libraries?

both objects are part of zexy 2.0 and should be included in pd extended 0.41.4.

are your paths poiniting to the externals? should be automatically done with the installer.

when i load pd it says this in the window

libdir_loader: added 'zexy' to the global objectclass path

and in paths, zexy is down as present in the program files. should i uninstall and install again? is the object broken?

Mine does this too. It probably has to do with the same namespace issue that doesn't allow [>~] et al. to work. However, like the comparison operators, you can replicate [&&~] with [expr~]:

[expr~ $v1 && $v2]

does that mean u can use [expr~ $v1 && $v2] instead of &&~? sorry im not that advanced in the ways of pd, it does rock ass tho!
