Hi,

I'm having a problem using Novation X-Station and PureData, when I set my input device to X-Station the console says:

audio I/O stuck... closing audio

I tried using the ASIO (via portaudio) option but the program just hangs

Any idea ?

I have an X-station also, but I'm no expert. Are you using USB to connect? Do you have the proper X-station driver installed?

I haven't had any (major) trouble getting audio and midi to work using the USB. (I'm on Mac OSX, by the way.) Don't really know what else to suggest. Sorry.

I'm not sure if this applies to Mac OS, but in Linux USB audio devices represent themselves two ways: as as hardware device, and as a plugin (for ALSA I presume). If this is indeed the case for Mac OS, then you might try checking which one Pd is usnig and select its alternate.
Once again, just throwing this out there....

Finally it was just a problem with my drivers... I've reinstalled them and now they are working just fine. Thanks !
