Hi

I am working with a patch with uses multiple oscillators
currently there is 12, but there will eventually be more.
The problem I'm encountering is when I turn on the audio
there is a very annoying buzz and all the audio is distorted.
Is this a sound card issue, or is there an issue with using
multiple oscillators?

wow its pretty complicated - i don't know where to start!

one immediate thing i noticed is multiple [dac~]. Use throw/catch~ pairs - so [throw~ mix] and *one* [catch~ mix]. Also, depending on your number of [osc~] divide by the same number [/~ 12] to normalize the range on output otherwise you'll get massive distortion..

also check your latency as it might be too low

I made a additive patch fairly recently that has 20 [osc~] for each voice - there are about 12 voices . My g4 powerbook showed ~50%
