I'm starting an PD user group in Austin, Tx. I'm a student at Texas State in San Marcos, about 30 minutes south of Austin, and haven't found a single person out of Austin who's even heard of it. I used to be from Austin and if you contact the Austin New Music Coop, you might find some members there that would be interested. They do various different projects but I know for a fact that some of their members are Max/msp/Supercollider/Kyma users, so I'm betting some would take on a PD project etc.

If you google them you'll find 'em.
