pdp was first developed from Tom Shouten, but he stoped devolop it like 2/3 years ago. During this years the only one who continues the project was Yves Degoyon with PiDiP library and some support on the list. Now seems something is changing: Hans Cristopher Steiner put much interest on pdp (and his 3d extention 3dp) and PD group from Barcelona (Lluis Gomez, Sergi Lario, Yves Degoyon) is developing a lot of good external (like pdp_opencv, videogrid, pdp_frei0r, pdp_freeframe, pix_preview, pdp_v4l2, pdp_ieee1394) that (very) soon will be integrated in pd-exteded. You can yet try it in last PD nigthly build.
So, therisn't a real manteiner, but i think things will change very soon
