I just started playing with PD-extended, i quite fancy seeing what the GEM bits do... I downloaded GEM 0.90.0 for PPC G4 and opened it all up but what do i do now?!? where do i need to put things?

If you DL'ed pd-extended, you should already have gem installed in your 'extra' folder. If you want to upgrade GEM, replace the GEM stuff in the 'extra' folder with the newest binaries. To do this, you have to right click on the pd-extended.app package and 'view package contents' The extra folder should be: /Contents/Resources/extra inside you'll find the Gem folder and the gem binary. I'd probably recommend backing these up before replacing them.
