i just grabbed the 0.38-3 drag+drop version for OSX. audio/midi seem to work fine.

my problem is that when i set my audio and mdi prefs in PD they dont seem to get saved. next time i open PD they go back to built-in audio and one port of midi.

there's an org.puredata.plist file in my prefs folder, but it doesnt seem to be responsible for storing this info (from what i can tell opening the file in textedit). i searched the mailing list and learned that there's a .pdrc file, i found it and made it visible but dont know where to continue, and i dont know if it relates to my prob in the first place.

any ideas?
