I'm new to the PD community but I've spent some time in Max MSP and look forward to learning new things.
While I learn, I had hoped to listen to other composers' works, but PD radio seems to be down (is it gone for good?) Are there other websites that have such music posted?

Yes, I heard today that pd-radio server died and it is no more

Searching through the forum you will find many links to pd music posted, check the output~ section.

Thanks Obi. I found some some files on this site. When I downloaded them I couldn't find a program to listen to them. PD won't open them and I can't tell that they are any known audio file.... or at least known to me.

I'm referring to the PD music page; big bass, variation, more fonk, etc. What program opens them?

Any clues?

Pd opens .pd files. Open them in an editor and save with a .pd extension if they are mangled. SHould start with a line that says

# N Canvas ... blah blah

Otherwise , they are something else.
