I just got a new pc running vista and pd doesn't seem to be very happy in terms of extracting data. When I use the snapshot~ object it spews a bunch of funky symbols along with the numbers. The same thing happens when I use the pix_data object from Gem.

Working on getting pure:dyne running on my machine but it hasn't happened yet.

Any thoughts?

Hi, sorry i can help you because i got the same problem running pd on windows vista. I need to use pix_blob, but the data i get from the outlets when i conect them to a number box are not just numbers but some odd caracters, and before that pd just stop working. Can someone please help me whith that?

Last night I put Miller's newest Vanilla version on and that fixed my snapshot~ problem. I haven't tried putting a different version of Gem on yet though.
