in my current patch you can find the send and receive objects s~ depop and r~ depop if you attach them instead of the patch line from the output of vline~ (s~depop is next to) to the *~ object (r~depop is next to) the dip in volume that "depops" the signal when hoping around the sample doesnt work as effectively as the patch cord. This is annoying because its preventing a tidier GUI, what can I do ? prac.pd

The audio sends and throws work as a separate buffer, allowing you to do DSP feedback at blocksize latency, but they take up more CPU time and memory than a direct patch cord. I'd go with the latter and sacrifice neatness over performance when possible
